Yin Yang Wall Hanging
This fun and edgy piece of monochrome wall art has been hand woven using traditional techniques by a group of disabled women weavers in Rwanda.
It is a lovely statement piece for the wall and when combined with other works of art, it can be used to create a feature wall. It is equally beautiful as a table centre piece or table mat.
Sisal fibers are extracted from agave plants, and together with local grasses they are hand-dyed using azo free dyes and woven into these beautiful works of art which have been designed by us.
Talking Through Art, the organisation that supports these women, are doing amazing work to create an empowering and supportive community for the physically impaired. It enables the artisans to gain new skills and a place in the job market.
