Wavy Blush Soapstone Candleholder
A beautiful accent piece for your home. Hand crafted from sustainable natural soapstone that is native to Kenya, it is a lovely centrepiece for a shelf, table or windowsill. We love to nestle in the winter with natural candle light and hope these light up many a wonderful occasion for you.
The base has a smooth surface with walled edges, ideal for catching wax and cleaning with ease.
Soapstone is a beautifully tactile metamorphic rock with a marble-like appearance.
This vessel is polished and treated with natural beeswax.
All of these products are hand carved in a small town in the south west of Kenya by a youth self-help group, founded in 1996 with 40 members.
As with all handmade items, there may be slight variations in the colour, shape and size. We embrace these subtle nuances as they are also a part of the natural character of the stone. Care: Clean with a soft damp cloth. If needed, hand wash with a little soap. Soapstone is not suitable for dishwashers.
