Wabi Sabi Surprise
Good surprises are far and few these days so we decided to create a mix of beautiful but not quite perfect utensils. Every selection will come with a mix of items with a total minimum value of £45 or more. As our items are handcarved we often get chips, tool marks or wood grains that don't quite pass our tough quality control for full priced products. But they are all beautiful, and most of the imperfections are not noticable at all and you will wonder why we discounted it!
We pack these for you, and will wrap them with a gold sticker, so that you know which are 'imperfects' in case you also have any full priced items in your order (bronze sticker). For each carefully curated selection we will ensure you will receive a mix of designs.
The imperfections are very minor and don't affect usage. Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.

Material: African Blackwood
Please note although the wood is called African Blackwood, it can sometimes have light grains and sections running through it, giving it a wonderful two tone look.
Care: Hand wash gently in lukewarm water and dry.Do not put in the dishwasher or leave soaking in liquids. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood.
