Soapstone Shallow Dish - Small
A sweet trinket tray for your bits and pieces. Perfect for jewellery, keys or loose change. These lovely dishes are hand made from naturally pinky peachy soapstone.
Soapstone is a beautifully tactile metamorphic rock with a marble-like appearance. The natural variations in the surface are part of its distinctive charm.
This vessel is polished and treated with natural beeswax.

All of these products are hand carved in a small town in the south west of Kenya by a youth self-help group, founded in 1996 with 40 members.
As with all handmade items, there may be slight variations in the colour, shape and size. We embrace these subtle nuances as they are also a part of the natural character of the stone.
