Sikia Bowl
'Sikia' in Swahili means to listen and this unique wooden bowl is quite the statement piece - a work of art and crafted with immense skill.
It is perfect as an olive bowl - use the large dip for olives and the smaller dip for pips. You can also use it for:
- cherries and stones
- bread and olive oil
- peanut butter and apple slices
You could use it decoratively as a statement piece on a coffee table or shelf too, and it would make for a great conversation starter.
This wooden bowl is wonderful. No two pieces are exactly the same as they are individually hand crafted and we love how the organic shape showcases the raw natural beauty of African Blackwood.
We work directly with our group of Makonde wood carvers who are renowned for their craftsmanship, a skill passed down for generations from father to son.
