Pantry Scoop
A beautifully hand carved wooden scoop, crafted using sustainably sourced African Blackwood in Tanzania. The handle is tactile and sturdy, and the scoop is an ideal size to use with flour, grains and lentils. A timeless and practical piece for your pantry with a story.
This piece has been hand carved by Daniel, one of our wood carvers, using a free hand technique that allows him to have more control over the shape and achieve a beautifully tactile finish. Each piece has its own unique wood grain and showcases the raw natural beauty of African Blackwood.
We work directly with our group of Makonde wood carvers who are renowned for their craftsmanship, a skill passed down for generations from father to son.
Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.
