Left-Handed Rice Paddle
This left-handed rice paddle was inspired by a customers request to create a bespoke piece. Tried and tested, it is now available to simplify kitchen tasks for all those lefties!
Customer review: ‘Besides gorgeous, it is perfect for left handed people. It feels natural and comfortable 10+/10 for me.’
Inspired by the Japanese 'shamoji' our own version of a rice paddle features a large head to effectively sweep and stir grains without mashing them. The handle with a slight curve allows for easy gripping and is ever so tactile.
A versatile tool that also works well for salads, cooking, lifting and serving cakes, lasagnes and crumble. It is a utensil we reach for daily.

Some of the paddles feature a unique two-toned natural grain. As each piece is individually carved, there may be slight variations in the shape and size making it one of a kind.
Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.
