Emmanuel's Wooden Bowl
These beautiful bowls are very special. They have been made especially for us by Emmanuel, Filbert's father. Filbert is our master wood carver and was taught to carve at a young age by his father.
Emmanuel's bowls are simple in design but exquisite. They can be used decoratively as a statement piece on a coffee table or shelf, but they are also wonderful to serve dry snacks or dips in. We love the two tone look of each bowl which showcases the raw natural beauty of African Blackwood.
Emannuel is 65 years old and continues to carve so these bowls are particularly meaningful. We are delighted to be able to offer them to you as they hold such a special connection and story for us.
Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.
